Guns rust from the inside. It does not matter from which material your gun is made – steel, aluminum, titanium. By nature, it will have the tendency to rust.
Rust can affect the performance of your gun, make cleaning difficult, and diminish the value of your prized possessions.
Rust is the result of a natural process where the iron in metals comes into contact with oxygen and moisture, causing it to corrode and deteriorate. Because iron and oxygen have opposite charges, they are attracted to one another, as if they are magnets. BONE-DRI cases eliminate this and dry the entire firearm inside and out. Most of us just wipe down our firearms’ exterior surfaces but don’t think about the internals, only to find corrosion when we deep clean them. STOP RUST BEFORE IT STARTS!
How It Works
BONE-DRI cases are constructed with patented Absorbits material that pulls out moisture – visible or not.
Absorbits wicks moisture from the contents of the case and will hold that moisture in the desiccant. The moisture-wicking process can vary, but ranges between 6 – 24 hours.
Releasing the moisture (“recharging”) is easy; after use, place the case in the sun or dry with a hair dryer or in a clothes dryer on low heat settings.
Absorbits is a material “sandwich” of encapsulated desiccant in moisture-wicking nylon and works on the same principle as commercial de-humidifiers, but without the need for electricity.

Purchase this bag a few months ago because I’m tired of all the flimsy bags and lack of storage from everything I purchased these last 30 years. This is the best constructed bag I’ve seen yet, has tons of storage, and I’ve even left my rifles in my truck by mistake a few weeks and they still look perfect. No moisture to speak of, no evidence of wear, and a very reasonable price. Thinking of replacing all of my pistol bags as my next purchase from this company!

Had a gun rust before after leaving it in a cheap thing bag. When I got it I thought there were those absorbent bags inside that you throw away but it was actually sewn in all throughout the bag. Seems like it’s good quality and I’m excited. It fits my shotguns and I could probably fit a few of them in the one bag.

I purchased the BONE-DRI shotgun/rife bag and I could not be more pleased. The fabric and workmanship are superior to any other bag i own. I can fit my 12g shotgun, or my new AK-47, with plenty of storage for clips/ammo. I can feel the dessiccation beads in the material so I wont have to worry about moisture. It feels sturdy and reliable when I carry it. I would definitely recommend this bag and would buy more products from BONE-DRI in the future!

WOW. I bought this for my Browning 308. This bag is a beast, solid material, stitching and insulation. Poured water on it just to see for myself. If you want keep your gun protected and keep out of moisture this is the bag for you. Comes with a long strap so you can carry across your body. Definitely worth the investment in keeping your firearm protected.

I purchased the rifle and shotgun bag with the hopes that it would protect my 12 gauge shotgun from the Texas Gulf elements better than my current case. I couldn’t be more pleased! This case is very study and has a lot of added features, like the ammo pocket. Not only that but it also dries and protects better than expected. I put my shotgun in the case one evening while it still had a lot of moisture inside that I couldn’t get to with a towel and by morning the case had pulled all of the excess moisture out of the inner workings and left the gun completely dry. Definitely a plus for the deep south humidity.
